From what I've read, He should receive his 3Q letter if he hasn't already and/or notification of being on the national waiting list. Nothing you really can do, but be patient and wait. Be aggressive with anything additional admissions sends his way. Good Luck!
Just FYI, my DS received no 3Q letter or notification about the national waiting list. Just opened his portal to a USMA appointment offer. Super amazing, but I am surprised that there have been no calls from anyone congratulating him (Rep who nominated/USMA ALO). I would have thought someone would have reached out - kind of disappointed really - they all put so much work into this process.

That’s amazing to hear! He got what matters in the end, the appointment. Good luck to your son.

FWIW, BGOs are asked NOT to call when if we see an appointment is being offered so that we DON'T jump ahead of the Senator or MOCs. There have been instances in the past where Congressman VOte4Me calls to give the good news and the candidate says that they were already told. Needless to say that SOME MOCs don't like this and thus USNA directs BGOs to not call to congratulate.

Agreed, but if you skim SAF for the last few years this seems to be a trend. Really is case by case, but I fear that in today's day and age many of those things that were considered "special" just a few years ago are losing their aura. So strange.

Yes, this is correct!

Are there any past applicants who have interviewed with either NY senator that can let me know some questions that may be asked of me or anything else I may need to be prepared for? I have interviews with both Gillibrand and Schumer coming up and although I though my MOC interview went smoothly, I feel like there will be tougher questions as they have more candidates to filter out on a state-wide level. Thanks.
Im learning how to navigate this site so apologies if this question comes through more than once.
Hi. My ds will be going through this process next year with the same Senators you interviewed with, maybe the same moc as well. I was wondering if you could share some insights on what the interviews were like, what to expect and what king of questions you were asked. Any information you can provide would be appreciated. Good luck next year!

I'm curious if anyone has received any information on nominations from Senator Richard Burr's office. DS has inquired numerous times (phone, e-mail) with no response (neither positive nor negative). Assumed, as with Senator Tillis that some type of response to his application would be forthcoming, especially seeing as it's already late February. Appreciate any other experience others may have had

Did you search the Nominations forum for "Burr" - I believe there are posts about nominations from Senator Burr's office but I'm not sure if they were for USMA or not. Either way, Nominations might be a good place to start/post.

OfficerToBe750, thanks for the suggestion. I had awhile back but didn't see anything. Now appears there are several nominations received from Burr for USNA and USAFA about a month ago. Very disappointing if there's not even an acknowledgement or indication of any kind (Senator Tillis, though he didn't provide a nomination, wrote a positive letter indicating such). Again, thanks for the suggestion

Does anyone know if Senator Warner notifies nominees of appointments? If so, does anyone know what their notification type is (mail, email, phone call)?

Does anyone know if Senator Schumer allows for super score of the ACT/SAT ?

Yes. We keep getting something saying they’ll be in touch soon. Of course, we don’t hear anything until we send emails asking “what is the latest?” Our congressmen’s office was fantastic compared to our Senator(s) office.. Very disappointing to be honest.
