DS went from yellow CFA to green CFA and NWL yesterday. Have to admit that the waiting is good practice for the years to come for him. What we have adopted in our house is at the end of the day if we haven't heard anything we just say - well they haven't said no today! Yesterday they said --- Maybe and the journey continues.

For those wondering the letter said, "Several hundred" march 1st to may 1st and notification potentially up to a few days before the class starts.

Isn’t it fun? Love the attitude. My oldest was notified in December. My youngest? Middle of May...and that’s a SA appointment wait in a nutshell. It can come at any time. But they are both just as sweet.

My most helpful piece of advice at this point, imo, is to find something else to occupy your thoughts. Joining all his buddies in dreaming about his alternate plans was what did it for my youngest. He fully immersed himself in plan B, planning out his dorm and roommates, etc.

Good luck! This is such an exciting time. When everything is DONE on your end, and people are waiting for XXX SA to do it’s magic!!

Totally agree. thankfully high school sports has started back up here and its now a jammed pack schedule to get both a basketball and football season in.

That is the spirit. It is a marathon not a sprint. The days between now and 1 May are long. You may be tempted to give up on this or feel increasingly upset about it as the weeks drag into late April. Keep Faith. There is simply no way to know the outcome. NWL is a great place to be.
