So they did, it was a staffer making conversation with parents in a waiting area, not would I would call an official brief.... they said a total of 40 students total applied for noms. Mind you this is a pretty densely populated area in close proximity (relatively speaking) to 3 of 4 SAs that require a nom.

I'm a freshman in college so my interview was online a few days after the in-person interviews. I could barely hear the interviewers for parts of it.

Darn. Last year it took 7 weeks from my interview for the nomination to show up in my portal. Maybe it’ll be the same this year but oh well, all we can do is wait now.

DD just received her nomination, It doesn't say anything about a Senator interview, it just says, "You will be contacted directly, by the Military Academy". Is this correct?

Interviews are completely optional. Your DD may have received a nom based on an application package only. It’s a nom - block checked!
