2027 State Nominations Thread

Seeing very little in previous years' posts about TN. We have heard that Blackburn may not notify until January and Hagerty, possibly on Christmas Eve. Anyone hear any different?
 
Anyone hear from CO-06 Jason Crow? At his info meeting he was certain his team would have nominations announced by beginning of December but we haven’t heard anything yet. I so want to pick up the phone and call but think it’s best to wait …
 
DS also got the call from Cornyn today! I wonder if they were going by academy. Still nothing from the congressman.

That’s great! Best of luck. My DS best chance at a nom was probably our congressman. We don’t expect to hear from Cornyn/Cruz. DS is focused on plan B/C now.

I still haven't heard either way. Not sure what that means.

So I was mistaken, he has a nom from Inhofe and his MOC. Not from Lankford, he has not heard from him. He did have an interview, but was given the impression that the Senators coordinate with each other and do not nominate the same candidates.

I thought he said his portal showed both Senators, but I was wrong.

So don't loose hope on that Nom from Lankford!!! It may still be coming!

Lankford Nom just showed up in USNA portal!

My son got his rep (IL - Dist 3) and then shortly after he got an email from Durbin and a paper letter from Duckworth regretting to inform him he was not selected 9which we expected since he got the rep). Both senators just came in the last few days.

FWIW - his noms went out 12/21 by email last year. It may have been a few days earlier for the principle noms.
 
Well, I just opened my email to see a "Good news from Cruz" letter in my inbox and was about to freak out when I did a double-take and saw it was just a recruiting email from a college in Santa Cruz 🤣

Still no word from Cruz(the senator not the college), or Cornyn.

My DS was awarded principal nom from VA-05 today, He was also a finalist with Warner. I understand Senators we’re waiting on some VA house members to make final selections and notifications before they (senators) notified, since VA MOCs try not to duplicate noms. Warner’s office told DS they would notify before Christmas. Good luck to all!
