I'm a Beirut vet, at the time of the attack, we had just returned to Homeport but were put on alert to go back there or to another location which we later found to be Grenada.

Yes, outside the Camp Johnson gate. The Bradford pear trees in the median of Lejeune Blvd were planted in the memory of the Beirut victims and are also a nice tribute.
