Travel orders state a choice of T.F.Green Airport in Providence,Rhode Island or Bradley International Airport in Hartford,CT.
For the well-traveled, which is preferred?
For USCGA cadets flying to and from these airports, are there other means of transportation from the airport to the campus besides taxi cab, bus or shuttle?
For an overnight visit, what time should an appointee be at the campus?
E-mailed and called admissions but haven't gotten response.
(hoping that someone who have done "Academy experience" can provide the info)
Thanks

T.F. Green is MUCH MUCH easier than Bradley. PVD is a "short" drive straight up I-95.

Airport

TF Green Providence is not only easier it is also less expensive, usually by $100.

Academy Experience day check in is at 8:30 am and it ends the following day at 11:00 a.m. if I recall correctly.

Without a doubt, TF Green.

Far far far less traffic, often cheaper, and for years had the 2nd best "on time" record in the country.

Best airport in New England IMHO.

Hope this helps,

MedB
