2nd board results

Good luck, everybody. Exciting time. Remember to go back and read the thread from the first board. Your portal may show only one school, but your letter that comes later may show more. I know that the second and third boards have less options, but don't think you know everything until you get the letter.

If it's like last time, you'll get an email today, then your portal will change (a day or two later) so you can see the school, then you'll get a letter.

Everyone, I've gotten the same message on my application portal as well. I hope this just means they've updated our statuses, and that it'll change to "winner" status, or that it's just a technical error. I wish everyone the best of luck!

To Kinnem's point, The PMS and ROO, etc. are forbidden "by law" from sharing any results before being allowed to do so by the Commanding General USACC. Trust me - I already asked. :rolleyes:

I assure you, Cadet Command has already been made aware "unknown" status changes have been made, and what they say about "DQ". The verbaige is shocking enough to generate a message or two (to say the least)!
 
Peestain, I know how you feel been watching the message board blow up all morning and no change. I don't think I was this nervous when the little guy was born. Crossing my fingers and hoping to get a update today.

I wonder if the "DQ" language shows up because it is the first choice in the list below? "Unknown" is not a choice in the lower list so maybe the system doesn;t know what to say? I know I'm reaching here, but...?

That sounds like a good possibility. There are to many people having this problem to be actually "DQ." I think it just means it is updating....Well it is 2:07PM here in GA and people say it usually happens around 2:30 so I guess we will find out soon enough........
 
Has everyone's portal changed to "unknown?" Mine did a minute ago. Could just be a system error?
 
Also curious as to if your upload file section has the welcome letter in it if yours has switched to unknown?

I uploaded an additional transcript for my 7th semester grades to update my GPA and it has just been approved with the green check so that tells me they are active on the system right now. However, I don't have a welcome letter. My selection status is still "unknown."
 
everyone who has been switched to unknown, can you post the first letter of your last name, just wondering if they are going by the alphabet.
 
Do not start calling the ROO and PMS at your schools, this is the first full week back for many of them and things are busy in the Battalion. There is nothing either can do for you at this point. Wait until the status changes have actually been and you receive your official letter telling you what type of scholarship and which schools have been offered. There is a chance you may receive a phone call from a ROO before the letter arrives in which case great. Now is not the time to bug them.

They do not post or update in alphabetical order, people have tried go figure out the method for years, it is all random, you'll go nuts trying to figure out if there is some system to how they post results.

Son's just changed in the last few minutes. Our last name starts with C and we live in Alabama. Probably not alphabetical by last name or state.
