Thanks for letting me know. We wanted to have it out for his grad party on Friday but didn’t even know if it would arrive on time. We’re about 5 hours from Fort Knox so maybe there’s a chanceI did yesterday
I won/accepted a 3-year contract and haven't received one yet. I had no idea that they would send one?Do the scholarship certificates that winners receive come in the mail? If so, have any 3rd board winners receive theirs yet? The one that reads “having achieved a meritorious record in academic studies, extracurricular participation, and athletic activities, and having demonstrated exceptional leadership potential, as well as an expressed desire to serve as an officer in the United States Army, is conditionally selected for an Army ROTC Scholarship.”
If you’re a 3rd board winner, I’m sure it’s coming soon!I won/accepted a 3-year contract and haven't received one yet. I had no idea that they would send one?
When did you accept your offer? Also, what does it look like?I did yesterday
SF-86 is for a security clearance, correct? I want to start looking into this myself. Its never done...
Stay fit.
Google SF-86 and start your template on answers to the clearance questions. Its better to do it now vs digging for that information during the fall semester.
It’s a nice leatherish portfolio, and inside is a standard size certificate on one side with a picture of Ft Knox on the other . I tried to upload a photo but got an error msg. When did you accept your offer? Also, what does it look like?

That’s awesome! DD has her med exam a week from today, and I suspect she’s going to need a waiver on 2-3 items. I will be glad when this part is in our rearview mirror!Medical waiver granted!
Best of luck! Make sure she stays ahead of what she can and keep in contact with the recruiting officer about medical! That’s awesome! DD has her med exam a week from today, and I suspect she’s going to need a waiver on 2-3 items. I will be glad when this part is in our rearview mirror!
One thing that I learned after going through the waiver process (my waiver was recently approved) is that once you get a disqualification code and your DoDMERB portal says "pending waiver," your ROO should be able to go in on their side of it and see a little more than you can. If you think you will need a waiver for something or another, once you get a "disqualification code," contact your ROO and see if they can view your file a little more closely. Another thing is that if you email your case manager listed on your DoDMERB portal asking for an update or information on the waiver, they will be of very little help, as there is not much they can do. Trust the process; it takes time, which can be scary and nerve-racking, but trust the process, give it some time, and all will work out in the end. That’s awesome! Not dress uniformsCan anyone confirm if uniforms are covered by a 3-year National ROTC scholarship?
How long did it take. Mine still says waiver under review.Medical waiver granted!
I was given a DQ Code on Feb 24th, my waiver was granted April 12th. I believe it depends on the specific reason for the DQ, some may take longer others not, but honestly not sure about that part. How long did your application sit at Waiver under review. The wait is the worst part.
Disqualified on April 17th, waiver granted on May 19th. However, I already had documentation in my DoDMERB file refuting the DQ from my USMA application. How long did it take. Mine still says waiver under review.
