Army ROTC applicant here, I'm just wondering what the breakdown of scholarships are for the third board. I have been hearing that they are primarily 3 yr AD Scholarships, with only a few 4 yrs. Thanks in advance

No one knows the exact breakdown except for Cadet Command, and they won't post it here. There will be about 800 scholarship offers for this board.

As far as boarded and qualified, there will probably be around 4000 or so.
Mohawk, approximately how and when would a 2nd Board 3 year AD scholarship winner be notified if they get upgraded to a 4 year now that the 3rd Board has convened?

I am not Mohawk obviously, but last year there were just a couple on this forum that the scenario you described happened to, and their portal updated at the same time as the 3rd board results were updated on portals, so the same 2-4 week time frame. If I remember they simply just said 4 year instead of 3 year.

Ok thank you

That is correct. However, upgrades to 4 Year is rare and that only happens for a few students.

The scenario described above did happen with my son. He was upgraded from a 3 year received in the 2nd board to 4 year shortly after the 3rd board results were released. He ended up at a SMC.
