4/C question

Do 4/C's report directly to their Summer assignments after the academic year is complete? Do they get any time off after finals?
 
They usually roll directly to their assignments and get their time off later in the summer. It's a two part summer with six weeks on Eagle and either summer school or time at a station. My DD was in Oregon by May 5 after her 4C year, so no matter where you're going there's no sitting around.
 
The 4/C evaporates at graduation and becomes 3/C. Everyone moves up, assuming this particular piece works roughly same at all SAs. They head to summer training as 3/C.
 
What 27BearDad said! Final yesterday, Eagle today, then immediately to a small boat station after the Eagle. That finishes up July 27th, and then he'll be home for three weeks. I'm not sure if it varies at all for the cadets who aren't on the first leg of the Eagle though. I'm guessing either way there isn't much down time.
 
Just spoke to my kid she is Phase 2. Just took her last final today. Summer school starts on Monday. Once that ends she immediately leaves for Eagle Phase 2. Upon return she will get a few weeks off for summer then its back at it
 
My kid came home in between finals from sat to wed. Went back for final on thursday came home after and will be back on sunday by 2200 so it depends on schedule of exams and how close you live.
 
Yes. However we are in a dynamic environment now. There will be two phases of summer school. NOT OPSEC (it's published on the interwebs) Eagle sails away this weekend. 3/c packed up, schlepped all their crap to the trunk room, and got outta dodge!!! For those who are NOT doing summer school and are doing Eagle Phase II, there may be some transience between when they catch the cutter (you might catch it in GITMO)...
