Hello,

I have sent in everything required on the 4 Year Scholarship Application Checklist about 2 months ago, but most of the steps on the checklist are still listed as incomplete. I sent the information again a month ago; the steps are still listed as incomplete. I tried reaching out to my point of contact, but I have not received a response. I would really appreciate any help.

If you have not already done so, email the ROO at your 1st choice school (write it well, Dear Sir not Hey Bubba)
-introduce yourself, ACT, GPA etc
-tell them you have completed the online application, but CC has not confirmed receiving it.
-ask them about interviews, over-nighters, shadowing a cadet or whatever is on your mind.
-attach PDF's of application, pt test, ACT

The ball is then in their court, follow up in 2 weeks if no reply.

Dealing with CC has been difficult for us as well. Nobody has ever answered a phone and occaisionally we get an e-mail response. Be persistent and gojack is correct, the ROO at your college can help. DS has everything complete except they have his SAT scores listed and not his much better ACT scores. Still working on that one. I think they must still be struggling with the relocation to Ft. Knox.
 
Recruiting Operations Officer (ROO)
Usually a Major, and second in command in a AROTC unit
Primary contact for incoming freshman

Check schools AROTC website, under 'cadre' look for email address for Recruiting Operations Officer (ROO)
