My DS just completed his fall senior year and is a candidate. I know he is already 3Q but wondering if it would help his WPS to send updated transcripts. He did well- not perfect....
A- physics
A-government
B-AP calculus
B- AP Literature
A- survey art ( required by HS for grad)
A- student government
The 2 B's are weighted A's so weighted GPA is 4.0 but unweighted like a 3.67? The calculus B is one of the highest in his class believe it of not! He currently is ranked 19/425, UW 3.94 and W 4.0. These grades are not really better then his typical record but they do show that he stayed motivated senior year and challenged himself with college level classes. I have been reading threads of kids who recieved C's in Ap calculus and even students who are dropping classes because they are struggling. Although a B is not an A, it does show he can handle the classes.
Do you think sending transcripts could help him or hurt him being he did not earns straight A's? Thoughts or comments?
