DS awoke checked email this morning and found a message from USMA saying if they did not receive his 7th semester transcript by Friday, they would revoke his appointment. YIKES! Two things immediately came to mind: 1. Thank goodness he is so attached to his i-Touch and checks his email religiously (Boy, never thought I say that). 2. Where was this transcript request/necessity communicated? In the bevy of forms, there is a final transcript request form, but nothing for seventh semester. The portal is all green check marks. Didn't see anything about it on the myriad pre-R Day checklists we received. Oh well. Guess that's something we can ask them to make more obvious for future classes. Long story short, it shouldn't be a problem as we can get a transcript pretty quickly and our regional admissions team said a faxed/emailed copy was acceptable, so ... crisis averted, but I shudder to think what could've resulted. Appointees ... please check your emails regularly and ensure that your 7th semester/term transcripts are turned in.
