7th Semester Transcript

I rushed my 7th semester transcripts to West Point 2 weeks ago (after processing my DE grades through parchment & my high school etc). my portal still says I haven’t sent them in- and I see the 3 weeks to process. My due date is the 31, does anybody know if the grades have to be processed before the 31 or just arrive at West Point before the 31?
 
I don't know if they have to be processed before the 31st or arrive on the 31st but I do know that I'm in the same boat as you are.

I submitted my 7th-semester transcripts as soon as they were available and my portal also still says that they haven't been sent in.

The admissions team is probably just overwhelmed right now having to handle thousands of transcripts so we should just try to be patient,

yeah haha they’ll probably work it out, i have a feeling this is common
 
I can share this with you from my RCO. Mine are not available until the first week of FEB.
"This email is to inform you that we will be needing your 7th semester transcripts (transcript including first semester this year) as soon as they are available. We understand that some schools have not published these transcripts yet. Please ensure they are sent as soon as they are available. Not having 7th semester transcripts will not effect your file status in terms of the 31JAN deadline. We will however eventually need these transcripts so it is important."
Do not sweat the 31 JAN deadline, just get them in ASAP.

My own experience. It changed to green light two working days after my HS counselor uploaded the 7th transcript to the portal.

I believe that it depends on RC. My two uploaded videos were approved within several days as well although some candidates reported here that it took more than 3-4 weeks.

I would contact my RC if my transcript were not approved within one week.
 
@willrb2024 I believe they may need to come directly from your counselor. There is an option to send the request to your counselor in the 7th semester transcript section of the portal.

okay. When I uploaded my cfa videos they immediately turned green. Does that mean they don’t need to be approved?

My DS received the same email from his regional admissions contact. DS sent him a copy of the email he had sent three days earlier to the counselor and where she replied that transcripts would be uploaded on the 21st.

Is it just West Point that requires 7th semester transcripts

My semester was extended, so my grades for my 7th semester transcript have yet to be finalized. I told my Regional Commander, so I’m hoping it works out because this was out of my control.

You should be fine. My son’s 7th semester was extended by 3 weeks due to Hurricane Florence. The admissions office was very understanding.
