The best thing about Navy/military family - we don't forget. This morning, I have swapped notes with over 2 dozen former Pentagon shipmates with whom I shared that day. Some I haven't seen since I left CNO's staff, some are retired 4-stars or separated enlisted petty officers, but it doesn't matter a bit. We got each other through that day and the days that followed, and we did our best work even as we grieved. I have posted this before, but for new ears...it is so healing. It's the USNA Anchormen in Memorial Hall.
