A little bit too late?

I made the mistake of starting the medical qualification process very late... last month. Four weeks of hustling and Concorde sent the documents to DODMERB yesterday. At this point it's unlikely that the staff will process my file by West Point's Mar 15 deadline. All that hard work only to see my procrastination of the medical aspect undo me. Now what? :frown:

Keep plugging along....if it means you are too late, then so be it. See where it puts your status. It still doesn't hurt to try as long as you learn from it. In the meantime, what are your alternate plans? Make some calls to a local Army ROTC group and see what the possibilities are for a tuition waiver. My son's ALO told him last night that there are several ways of finding funding, so keep looking!

Applying to these programs takes commitment and resolve. Starting the medical process for West Point that late, often yields those type results. The Service Academies and ROTC progrmas are highly competitive. The rulkes and deadlines are laid out clearly. Hoepfully, you'll have success in some other endeavors as ROTC or West Point next year. Good luck:thumb:
