One thing you learn over the course of PS and, even more so, plebe year . . . every single person excels in some areas and every single person struggles with some things.
Some people run well and can't swim. Some march well but struggle in the classroom. Some can write but have trouble with math. Some are engineering geniuses but can't write. Some look terrific at uniform inspection but their room always looks like crap. Some can memorize in the privacy of their room but choke during chow calls. And on it goes.
For PS, number one is to be in good enough shape that you stay with the pack during runs. Other than that, do your best in all events -- you'll undoubtedly excel in some and stumble in others. It's just the nature of the beast. If you were strong enough to be appointed, that effort will get your through PS just fine.
