A message on COVID19 from LTG Williams to the West Point Family (including applicants/cadet candidates)

This was just released and it might help those of you who are worried about appointments or about what will happen if you get sick.
Here is an update from LTG Williams.

Consistent with what he told us when DS visited for his overnight. Captain that gave us the tour also told us he hung up on POTUS, twice, during that adventure as he thought someone was pranking him. Went ahead and answered it the third time... Also speaks 5 languages and was in charge of the force in Europe. I was super impressed with this man and it is comforting knowing he will be in charge of my DS’s development while at WP.

Whenever LTG Williams is mentioned here I say that he is a graduate of the same high school in which both my kids graduated. This time I have left a gift of a nice article that tells a little more about him.

My son was fortunate to have had a long chat with LTG Williams at SLE last summer, and my son was so impressed with him. My kiddo is headed to USNA though just the way it worked out.
