What corner of the stadium will the Midshipmen be sitting in ? The Sect. 122-128 corner, or the Sect. 131-137 corner ? Thanks,

Thanks. While the link you attached says it's for 2015, if you go to "armynavygame.com/gameday.php," and hit the "Stadium Seating Map" link, you get the exact opposite seating arrangement.

I got that map on the www.phillylovesarmynavy.com/stadium-information/ site. I've already received my tickets for WP parents and they're in the 215-221 section. Obviously someone goofed on one of the maps but all of the WP parents are being told WP cadets sit in the 122-128 section. You could call the ticket office to doublecheck.

I would doublecheck as some West Point parents posting on here have been known to post misleading information. I guess that's why they post on the Naval Academy side.

Good luck to both teams. I am a Navy fan, but will be a fan for both. To be in the presents of some of the best and brightest on this great nation. And all of you who have defended the freedom of this country. thanks. I am hoping that Navy doesn't play the want they played against Houston.. I hope it is a competitive ballgame.

Again a big Thank You to all, RGK

During march on, where will the Midshipmen enter the field and which way will they face, east (towards section 120) or west (towards section 101)?

They usually face opposing side first, execute hat trick, about face to Navy side. That may not help, but if you know who is sitting where, you can figure it out.

Get there very early for March On if President will attend. Security lines are long and you may miss March On even if you figure you are early but you will still get to see the exchange of "prisoners". Best to both but I think Navy will sing second..

Great schools, both very deserving of a win. Pulling for Army, betting on Navy, sorry ;) BEST to both

I hear ESPN College GameDay will be at the Army Navy game. Does anyone have details? For example, where they set-up, activities for fans, etc.

Everyone gets there early to enjoy the Super Bowl-like atmosphere. Cadet and Mid March-Ons are a few hours before kick-off, so there is plenty of time to visit activities set up on the Linc apron (inside security, which is an exterior perimeter to stadium) or Linc concourses. If I were to guess, following previous years for big displays, they might set up at the big entrance close to 11th St., as many fans coming from Centre City take SEPTA to the Pattison exit and walk 3 blocks. The ESPN CGD website may eventually have more detail.

For first-timers, don't forget it's an NFL stadium, and their "bag rules" are very specific. I put the link below, but even little cross-body bags are a no-no. There can be a wristlet-type bag about the size of a hand, and any larger bag must be clear plastic and within certain dimensions. Every year I see folks with backpacks and handbags/totes getting turned back at security. If they came by public transportation, that is a royal pain to schlep the stuff somewhere.

Pockets are good things.

In light of the current world situation, expect security lines to be long, and police presence obvious. And not so obvious. Throw in a Presidential appearance and multiply by three.

Follow Scott Strasemeier on Twitter to get great A-N comments and game day pix and re-tweets of media. He is Navy Sports Information Director. He also tweets under @NavyAthletics. I have been getting some fun images starting yesterday with Sly Stallone on the Rocky Steps with mids during Patriot Games with WP cadets, sunrise at The Linc, mounted police in front of A-N banners, etc.

First time in 12 years straight we haven't gone, feels odd! Decent weather, of course, since we are staying home.

Today brings to mind that warning exchange between the protagonists in Ben-Hur just before the race:

"This is the day. It's between us now."
