This forum sure did go quiet shortly after EA notification period closed. Will Objee give info about this cycle for the benefit of current and future candidates?

Stats on EA candidates/applicants, appointments, deferrals, CGAS appointments, GPAs, test scores, average PFEs, AIM attendees, etc.?

Did cancelled SATs and ACTs bring average scores of appointed candidates down?

Congrats to all appointed to USCGA and CGAS, and good luck to deferred candidates and others as plans to move forward come into focus.

All of the above would be very interesting information to see...

When do they start reviewing applications for RA and start sending out notifications? I know decisions are made no later than April 1.

It looks like some posted acceptances around the end of February last year then again towards the end of March. Who knows for this year though...

My son received an email today that his app will be forwarded to the evaluation board within the next two weeks. Decisions will be made by April 1 but some will be contacted sooner as they will release decisions on a rolling basis.

CkzErz: Was your son deferred from EA or did he apply RA only? Just curious b/c my son was recently deferred to RA and we weren't sure when they'd start reviewing his application. He has a call/email in to his AO now.

He originally applied EA but, before the EA deadline, he asked them to move him to RA so that he could focus on improving his PFE score. As a result, they did not evaluate him during EA. So, to answer your question, no, he’s not in the deferred from EA pool. Good luck to your son!
