Is there a post somewhere of common abbreviations used on this forum. I'm going crazytryin to piece this stuff together. ocs, dcss,dco,ldc,cspi,dod,bgo,naps,moc. Well...you get the idea. -officer

OCS - Officer Candidate School
DCO - Direct Commission Officer
LDC - Leadership Development Center
CSPI - College Student Pre-Commissioning Initiative (USCG)
DOD - Department of Deferense
BGO - Blue and Gold Officer (USNA)
NAPS - Naval Academy Prep School


Now even worse Officer, you will run into the fact that abbreviations do not always the same. Went to a joint meeting.....figured out not too far into it, CG didn't mean Coast Guard, it meant Commanding General
