So here we are trying to get into another 4 year university. Not a pretty picture. :(
My son was dis-enrolled last year, has been at a JC and doing very well (JC was the only option due to the fact that he came home past all deadlines for a 4 year).

We are having concerns regarding all of his grades that follow him. Does USMMA allow for academic renewal? This has been mentioned to him from the JC he is currently attending and several schools allow for this. He has been told one semester is erased. Is this the case or even considered at USMMA?

Any help or info. regarding this would be helpful!
Thanks!

I'm not clear on what you mean by Academic Renewal. Does that mean reinstatement to the Academy or are you talking about transferring of credits?

GPA

The Academic Renewal process allows students to continue their academic careers without being penalized for past academic performance. The purpose is to allow a student to improve his/her grade point average. An Academic Renewal allows certain courses to be excluded from the GPA calculation. Academic Renewal is the circumstance in which the new grade, earned by repeating the course, replaces the former grade in terms of the calculation of GPA. The original grade normally remains on the transcript,

I know I was able to re-apply and got back into the academy after I failed. I was able to start over and the previous years classes were not held against me. Contact the academy for more details.
