Academy cancels July 4th celebration due to sequestration

They didn't have fireworks last year either due to the fires. Life goes on. . . .
 
Weird, we celebrated Thanksgiving on my ship by dealing with a Cuban migrant "uprising".



You're in uniform, sometimes you can't party like everyone else.
 
Let's just cancel vacations, and really - trips of any kind - for all public officials while they remain in office. That should get us a few fireworks, hotdogs on the grill, and a parade or two.
