Academy Day This Weekend - Question about Dress

As an aside.... I have had one candidate over the years attend his BGO interview in a JROTC uniform. I probably noted it in my interview write up, but to be honest, it didn't have any impact one way or another.

“Informed questions” have been mentioned.

Asking questions whose answers can easily be found on the USNA.edu website waste everyone’s time. Prepare, if you haven’t already done so, by reading every page, dropdown, hamburger menu item and other links on USNA.edu, ditto your applicable elected officials’ SA web pages, so you are up to speed on noms. Think about what you really want to know about, the insights into the culture, the challenges, the bright spots, what grads appreciate most with the benefit of hindsight.

Go for the suit and tie...it's nice to dress nice! Standing out (in a good way) will always be noticed and appreciated by the people who are the eyes and ears for a MOC ;)

A couple of years ago in the west, mine wore khakis and a collared shirt, as did most of the other males. Several young men wore a suit and tie. The young women were mostly wearing conservative dresses or skirts with a conservative top. Then there were a few that showed up in a t-shirt and jeans.....
