Acceptance thread-SLS

accepted stats

anyone accepted willing to post their stats?

I have a question for you guys. So I was accepted to week 1 of SLS, and I was also accepted to Boys State. As it turns out both weeks of SLS conflict with Boys State. However, if I go to Week 2 of SLS which begins on the 9th, Boys State ends on the 9th. So is is possible to come a few hours late to SLS since we don't do much on the first day anyways, or is it possible to mabe ask if I can skip the last day of Boys State given the circumstances? Thanks in advance.

I believe that I got in because I woke up at 4am (an hour before I normally get up) the day apps opened and filled it all out before I went to school. So I was probably one of the first ones to fill out the app.

But my stats are, 4.6 GPA, 17 out of 675. IB Diploma Candidate. 3 year lettering in wrestling, 2 years varsity, 1 year captain. Officer in 3 clubs. Volunteer outside school. and average SAT scores.

Lol those are good stats, im sure you would have gotten in regardless of when you applied.

He has stats similar to mine, but I instead stayed up to fill out the application right when it opened :D

Seems to make a huge difference when one applies, I just hope everyone here gets started on the real app as soon as it opens!

I received my acceptance letter on 20 January 2012. I was dated 12 January 2012. I hope to attend session 1.

I am from Michigan (metro Detroit) and attend one of the top ten schools in the nation. I'm also Asian (75% Chinese, 25% Mongolian (which explains my huge head)), if it matters.

Unfortunately, my stats are not as good as everyone else:
3.41 UW GPA

33 ACT (35, 33, 34, 30, 10 on writing)

Taking all possible IB Classes (Attend the IA, so have to)

Yeah, not too hot....
Mostly, I'm worried about working out. I kinda let my self go after tennis...

I got accepted awhile ago and just saw this thread. I just read everyone's stats and I'm kind of confused on how I got in. Here's my stats:
3.46 UW GPA
640 SAT Math
620 SAT Critical Reading
500 SAT Writing
AP World History Exam Score: 5
Captain of Freshman B-Ball team, played (was not captain) JV BBall, Varsity Bball
JV Baseball w/ time on Varsity team
Freshman Football
Secretary for MUN
FBLA officer
Charity:Water leader
Student Leader within Church
Selected for International Student Leadership Institution
Physics Club
and my dad was a West Pointer

so yeah, not the greatest stats but some how I got in. Ohhh, I also am a Army brat living in Germany. I'm attending the second week.

So I attempted to change my session from 1 to 2, and was put on a waitlist. I have heard nothing back from west point since, and my portal still shows me going to session 1. Confused on what to do now....

If I recall correctly, they provide you with the contact information of the person responsible for SLS applications on the mail and, I suppose, on the Portal as well. Try calling him/her.
