After completing requirements, will the portal say you won’t get or it just updates if u get in— like confirmation update that you wont get in?
 
Are you talking about PCQ or the actual application. After completing PCQ and if you qualify you will be updated to candidate status. If you complete the application and get in you will most likely be notified by your MOC. If you get rejected you would get a TWE.

USAFA will always tell you if you haven't been selected for anything. Whether that's Summer Seminar, the candidate phase, or an appointment, you'll get a letter either way.
