20 plus cadets involved, one airlifted to a local hospital. Apparently a troop carrier overturned near Camp Natural Bridge. Thinking of these cadets this morning...

I’ve been keeping with the updates as they come out.... pray for these cadets, soldiers, and the families affected by this horrible accident.

Very sorry to hear about this. Thoughts and prayers for all involved.

One cadet is now reported to be deceased. Sad, sad morning in the service academy family.

Mods - please merge threads.

Sigh. The families will be overwhelmed and comforted by how the WP family will pull together and wrap them up in support and comfort. It’s the military way. The chaplains will be at their best.

There's been an outbreak of military vehicle turnovers lately. Very tragic.

Too many vehicles overturning. RIP cadet.

Keeping the West Point community in our thoughts.

Mod note: I have merged three separate threads on this subject into this one which may cause some disjointed comments, but the theme of everyone caring for WP remains.

The vehicle was a light medium tactical vehicle - a 5-ton cargo truck with a high center of gravity. Thoughts and prayers for all.

I had to take a stringent test to get a military drivers license to qualify for each vehicle up to duce and 1/2. Then another test for Flight Line Qualified. Do they still test for all rated vehicles? This is terrible and I pray for the families. There have been too many of these incidents.
