Accutane

Current use of Accutane is a disqualification for 8 weeks after discontinuing the medication. afrom the sounds of it, you have already gone through the physical exam process, and your physician just started you on the Accutane.
You need to let DoDMERB know as soon as possible that you have started to take the medication. Yes, they will add a disqualification to your file and notify the academies/ROTC programs you are applying for. This will not stop your admissions package, and the academies/ROTC programs can, and do, issue a conditional letter of acceptance, pending clearance of medical.
You still have a ton of time, most Accutane regimins are for 3 - 4 months, and with the 8 week period after completion of the medication it puts you sometime in April at the latest, when DoDMERB can put you back into a qualified status.
I do not give out medical advise here, but I will say this, and you need to make sure its clear:
DO NOT STOP THE MEDICATION WITHOUT SPEAKING WITH YOUR PHYSICIAN FIRST!!!!!
It is also possible that the waiver authorities could grant you a waiver long before April, in which case you would have nothing to worry about.
