if i tore my ACL and had my surgery in June, would that hurt my chances of getting in and or DQ me?

If you tore your ACL you will be disqualified by DoDMERB. If you have surgery in June 2020, you might be able to get a waiver for an ROTC scholarship (depending on a lot of factors, like your recovery time). You will not be able to get into any academy for the class of 2024 because you won't have enough time to get a waiver. You might be able to get a waiver next year for the academies.

I had my surgery in June 2019, sorry for the confusion, would I still be DQ'd by DoDMERB if I was cleared?

This link addresses the issue.

Would the same rules apply with the service academies, the 12 month wait? Or is there a chance i can pass the DoDMERB after 6 months?
