I am a junior in high school and was wondering if anyone knew the conversion that admissions use to convert ACT to SAT scores.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

This might help a bit. http://www.studypoint.com/ed/sat-to-act-conversion/

I think there is also a prep scholar one (just google them) that allows you to input your ACT score and it automatically gives you the equivalent SAT and vice-versa. However there are pop ups on the Prep Scholar site so I didn't want to link to it here. Good luck!

Why would they need to convert them? They are both published in the class profiles.

Yeah I've seen both scores published for class profiles, but one of the EA posts from Objee showed only SAT scores and it referenced converted ACT. Regardless, I find that the conversion charts help to determine whether to send your ACT or SAT scores to an institution. For instance my daughter's first SAT score converted much lower than her actual ACT so if that happened to be her final score it would have made sense to send only ACT to institutions.

Admissions superscores the ACT/SAT scores.

Thanks for the link! Just like your daughter my SAT converts lower than my ACT

That's great to hear, a lot of colleges/institutions don't superscore the ACT yet so that's great news. My daughter took her SATs much earlier than ACTs which is why I think they aren't as impressive. Knowing they superscore both is fantastic. Good information.
