I have a concern regarding my ACT. I have taken the ACT plus writing twice already. Earlier in the month, I took a third ACT that was administered by my school and was free of charge. I managed to improve my scores on the free ACT. However, this ACT DID NOT include the writing portion. Will West Point accepts this ACT score? I am hoping yes since they already have my writing score on file. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Yes, they will take the scores. My DS had the same scenario as this. The school administered ACT did NOT include writing but the better scores were used for his superscore. I believe that the writing is only required on one test.

Makes sense but that's surprising...on the homepage of the candidate portal it says if you are registering for the ACT then you must select ACT plus writing.

I was in the same situation, WP does take your scores, HOWEVER, they do not combine your new english score w/ your best writing for your eng/writing score. I found that one out too late.

Thanks for the help everyone! This brings a little sigh of relief.
