Hello, Everyone,
I was speaking with a Naval Academy admissions officer, and I think he said that the Naval Academy only looks at the English, Critical Reading, and Math sections of the ACT. He also stated that the Naval Academy Superscores the three parts.
So, my question is:
  • Does the Academy look at the Writing, and Science sections of the ACT?

The only scores that show up in the portal are English and Math. Reading, Science, and Writing were NOT included in the portal. From this I am led to believe that they only look at English and Math.

Thank you for your valuable information!

Yes, RunningMoose is correct, they only look at English and Math on ACT. And interestingly, they convert ACT scores to an equivalent SAT score. They will even mix and match the highest converted ACT English with the highest SAT math score (and vise versa), to get the highest 2 scores of all your tests. So they basically superduper score! (disclaimer: they did this 2 years ago, I have not confirmed they are still doing this)
