Hello,

Does anyone know if the USCGA has updated the 09.23.2020 policy regarding ACT/SAT scores? If some applicants are unable to take a standardized exam, could they still be offered an appointment without that component of their application?

Their website says, “Candidates unable to take the SAT or ACT exam, despite a concerted effort to do so, may apply for Regular Admission and their applications will be reviewed after February 15.” I would be cautious about the “concerted effort” part. You may have to prove that you registered for tests that have been canceled. If I were you, I would check with your AO to ensure you’re compliant with what is required.
