I am currently active duty Navy overseas, and I dont have a DODMERB account yet, although I do have over 50% of my application done, so i went to my local med detatchment, and showed them the DD 2351 and 2492, but they said they've never used those and they gave me DD FORM 2808, and 2807-1. Will there be any issue with this?

I can almost assure you that your local clinic has almost zero experience in dealing with the type of physical you need. It seems weird; however, most military physicians will go their entire career without doing an exam for a ROTC or Service Academy applicant as they are almost always done by DODMERB contractors.

Due to this take the forms that DODMERB gives you and explicit instructions. DO NOT accept the 2807 and 2808 as it may cause issues (unless DODMERB says those are correct forms)

Thanks for your help!

So from my call with DODMERB I should have DD 2351, 2492 and the eye examination form completed. Is there anything I should get done preemptively before I get my account?
