I was seen at our local behavioral health clinic four years ago and was diagnosed by adjustment disorder. It showed from october to december. Will this get me disqualified? I finished my contract for active duty and got an honorable discharge and now in the Air national guard. I am applying for ROTC this spring to commision as a nurse.

Can letter of recommendations from my previous commanders and first sgts help my case?

It’s kind of dissapointing that the military offers help, and when you seek the help that you need, they flag you for it.

Adjustment disorder that long ago and lasting only 3 months is not DQ.

You’ll probably have to supply the notes to prove the diagnosis was adjustment disorder and not anything else

Does your paperwork state acute adjustment disorder, chronic adjustment disorder, or neither? Was treatment terminated by the BH provider or did you just stop making follow ups?

Neither. The treatment was also stopped. “It said “terminated w/o limitations”.
