Hello all. I'm currently heading into my 4th year of undergrad and was unfortunately medically Dq'd from my Army ROTC program a few months ago. I was on a 3.5 yr scholarship and have been in the program since my freshman year. The Dq was due to a prescription for insomnia medication stemming from adjustment disorder. I was only on the medication for two months (until late December), and I'm now doing much better. Going onto the medication, I knew it would mean the end of my undergrad ROTC experience as it takes two years to reapply. But I plan on going to grad school and want to know if ROTC could still be an option for me. I looked at previous posts, and it seems that adjustment disorder is something that gets waived more frequently. I'm wondering if anyone has advice for my situation and how to increase my chances of getting my waiver passed when I reapply in 1.5 yrs.
Thank you!
