I have struggled with depression before but got through it and was mostly fine for a few years until about Spring 2020. I have been struggling with depression for about a year and a half now. I was thinking it was triggered by school and stress, but I feel depressed even during holiday and summer breaks when I don't have classes. I am now struggling with focus pretty severely. I feel restless when I am doing coursework even if I am organized, have everything I need, and am in a clean work space. I have been feeling so hopeless from depressive feelings and inability to complete simple assignments that I decided to make a psychiatry appointment. I had the appointment today and was diagnosed with "adjustment disorder with depressed mood" and was prescribed "Wellbutrin" which is an anti-depressant. I am a contracted AS300 on a three year scholarship. What is my outlook from here? I know I have 72 hours to report changes to medical status to cadre, which I will follow. However, is it possible that I will get to stay in AFROTC or does it seem like I will be DQ'd?

The OP, a new member as of today, looks like they left SAF around 2016 EST. Fingers crossed they come back and grab your lifeline.
