I've recently heard there were some adjustments to the OML model and accessions points for the fy14 bringing everyone's points down nationwide. Can anyone clarify for me exactly what the change was?

I don't know what the changes we're but I went from a 94 to 84 as did everyone in my BN, my buddy went down from a 99 to a 89 also pretty crazy.

This is odd, I remember when the OMS first came out there were a lot of cadets saying their scores went up after first getting them. Did the score then drop again. I would hope that all those that saw their scores drop had a meeting with their PMS to go over why.

Drops like that can be career changers.

I haven't heard anything since I got my initial accessions counseling. If my score changed then I haven't been told about it. I haven't heard anyone in my battalion mention it either.

Same here, with my first initial counseling my accessions points had risen approximately 4 points within a few days then it was stabilized. I haven't heard anything since my score was validated at the BN level. I would assume that scores would not change once validated, but maybe I'm wrong?

I also haven't heard anything since my score went up about 4 points after my initial counseling. I would hope they would have told us, but not a whole lot we can do at this point except continue waiting.

My battalion is fairly large and doesn't typically allow us to just walk in and look up our scores. We have midterm counseling coming up, but we may not find out anything about accessions until Cadet Command releases information.

I was told from a friend from LDAC that's at a different battalion his went down by 10 points, so I went to check with my HR and yep down by 10 points after it had went up by 4 points. Everyone in my BN went down by 10

Nope one went from 88 to 78 another 83 to 73 that's all that actually talked about their score the rest just said it dropped by 10 points and this was all after my packet had been validated. it's pretty crazy if you ask me but not much we can do about it.

Well, look on the bright side. Only a month until we find out what the hell is going on. I'm sure that's just going to fllllyyyy by (like a snail).

The DOD computer messed up and instead of reducing the defense budget by 10 (%), it dropped everyone's OMS by 10 (points).

LOL.

Actually on a serious note though, if everyone's score dropped 10 points then no one's score really dropped. It's all relative, right? As long as the same things were done across the board, no one has lost out.

Ouch to the person who went from a 83 to 73. That would put them below the ad selection last year. I wonder if the total oml points available went from a 101.5 to a new number? Or maybe it was just a glitch. I'll see what my score is tommorow, cause I was one of those guys who my be said was on the borderline of getting ad or not. Maybe this change will help us guys on the bottom lol. Hate being the lab rats class for accessions
