I have been administratively qualified for the Army ROTC scholarship this coming semester, I just have not been medically qualified by the DODMERB. They requested all medical records from age 10 onwards because, according to the operator at DODMERB, they had some "questions" when reviewing my records. I am almost sure it is because according to my early doctors records I had "mild asthma," which I now believe was not asthma but simply shortness of breath due to me being out of shape and overweight as a child. (two years of high school wrestling cured that) I have never had an asthma attack or anything remotely close and I can run 3 miles nonstop. I am worried that I will be DQ'd due to this "mild asthma" being on my record. What shoud my next step be after sending in all of my medical records?
