How normal is it for the counselor to offer a one on one? DD app is CPR. They did call previously and suggest she complete her app which was just waiting on BGO interview. (Issue with the upload so BGO got it in). Today she was offered a one on one. Just curious if this is normal.

If the email was to say meet with your admissions officer, its not actually a 1 on 1. Its an info session going over the application as a whole. I did one in august. It was good meeting my admissions officer in person along with 2 other candidates, but it was not what i was originally thinking.

No, it is a specific invitation for a one on one session. Just seemed unusual when added to the phone call...I just wondered if this was normal.

Each admissions counselor does things their own way. If I had to make a guess... this is a session to encourage a candidate to complete their application. Sort of a nudge to get it done. I wouldn’t read too much into. Ask questions and takes notes. Be great to what your DD thinks of it after. Good luck!
