My application has been complete since September 19th but nothing is updating. My test scores still show my initial test from my Sophomore year. I have been medically qualified in Dodmerb for a month yet nothing shows. I have emailed several times and also had an appointment with counselor and I’m told it will be a couple of weeks. This is the same response I have received since September. Is anyone else having this problem? I have my Congressional interview scheduled for next week and would hope my application would show complete.

Your interview panel will not see USNA Admissions files, as far as I know. If you are asked about your application, you can confirm it is complete and is still being updated in the USNA system. Of course, you will say that in a neutral, just-a-fact tone, no appearance of frustration or complaint.

USNA has some IT system changeovers happening “live,” so the data points from thousands of applications input rate has been slowed. The focus is on quality and ensuring no data is lost or incorrectly placed while the data situation is dynamic.

You have done your part. Admissions folks are working hard to update candidate files. There are not hundreds of people or even dozens in Admissions. Focus on what you can control and prepare to ace your interview.

The Nomination processes run separately and in parallel with the Academy's Application process. When doing
Congressional interviews, I have never seen any measure of how far along the candidate is on their Academy application.

Our MOC actually asked on the application when you submitted different components of the application to your top choice. Including when medical was scheduled, interview, CFA, etc. And it stated that if portions weren't completed to be prepared to discuss why. When my DS went through the process in 2017 and 2018, this wasn't on the application, but it is now for my DD. And the representative and his liaison have not changed.

If you are asked during your interview whether your application is complete, I think it is perfectly appropriate to say yes, or something like ..I submitted everything in September... Whether the system is reflecting on your portal is not the same as whether you submitted everything.

Email your admissions counselor that can be found on the portal. My DS emailed his and she was able to look for certain components that were missing and update appropriately.

@Addy
Our DS is in the same situation. ACT scores are not uploaded, and the portal didn’t update as SOE arrived because the “my progress” page isn’t in use at all. He’s been in contact with AC to confirm verbally or via email the status of any outstanding items included DoDMERB.

For MOC: We simply printed the page that showed “application submitted.”
For BGO: His BGO couldn’t see anything on his application- and it said 0 of 9 items completed. In an email conversation, DS communicated his progress (he was only waiting on one SOE at the time) and the BGO quickly scheduled his interview.

It’s a bit unnerving to be lacking in the instant gratification (and peace of mind) that comes with a visually completed checklist. But- that’s my issue, not his or theirs. LOL.

Try accessing on mobile phone... My DD can't get the progress to come up on the computer, but on her phone, it's there.

We heard from the XC coach that the new admission software is causing huge problems.
