Hello,
I am not in an honors or accelerated classes. However, In Boy Scouts I was a Junior Assistant Scoutmaster for half a year; in addition I became an Eagle Scout in December 2011. In 2013 I received the Berrier Crabgrass Award for Suburban History, and advanced to the state level in history fair. And received the following awards in Student Athletic Training; Varsity letter, Scholar athlete, outstanding academic achievement, and trainer captain. I am a member of Fire Explorers, in approval pending status United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, and I have a GPA of 3.19 weighted and 3.3 un-weighted. In addition I am involved in Class Council, Youth Commission, Marching band,Mock Trails, and the School Wide Fundraising Committee. What are my chances for an appointment to the academy.

Hi, noone can say what your chances are. All the Service Academies look at grades, and CGA is no exception. But they also look at your other activities. They really do look at the whole person, not just grades.

And remember, your chances are zero if you do no apply.
