Admissions is killing me!

How is this for a tease. DS went to school and then got an email from admissions there has been an update and to check portal. I frantically log in for him and still down for maintenance. I can't refresh fast enough!

Last year I posted this when waiting was driving people around the bend. It’s a bit ghoulish, but perhaps it will bring a grim smile to your lips.

Hopefully it is wonderful news! Looks like first small wave will come through today and then trickle through until March/April when another wave will come through. This is our second time around - no news still for DS. The wait is rough; thought it would be easier this time - lol. It's not. Keep us posted!

Updated but no appointment yet. I heard I'll have to wait till every applicant who applied to my congressmen turns their application in. Hopefully, I should know by St. Valentine's day.

This is my once-a-year revival of the Grim Portal Checker.

I check it every day, multiple times a day. Even on the weekend when I'm pretty sure there's a .00000009% chance that portals update over the weekend.

Still no e-mail? Better check the portal anyway. You never know.

Multiply that times 5 schools DD applied to, 1 ROTC scholarship, and a million other small scholarships and I'm about to lose my mind. Moms definitely do not get the credit for the gray hairs we gain during this process.

DD said she's locking her e-mail down mid-February when the majority of her decisions should come through just to drive me crazy.
