Anyone know the phone number for the Admissions Office? My Math Teacher told me she had submitted her recommendation about two weeks ago and the site has still not confirmed that it was submitted. Does it usually take this long to update on the website because it takes a while because of the amount of candidates they have to review?

I've never had to call the admissions office before so I'm not sure of the number. But I would give your Regional Director a call with any submission problems. My teacher was having trouble submitting my CFA results and he was able to work everything out.
As for when it's posted, everything of mine submitted online was confirmed at latest a day later.

I found this on the USNA website, Admissions section, in about ten seconds:

"Contact USNA Admissions using the address and phone number below:

Candidate Guidance Office
United States Naval Academy
117 Decatur Road
Annapolis, MD 21402-5018
(410) 293-4361"

When your teacher submits the evaluation on you and submits it, your CIS will automatically say submitted with the date the teacher submitted. I know this because i had two teachers submit theirs and the same day i looked and it showed as "submitted". Also, my counselor told me she sent it but there was no submitted message on CIS, so i went to her office and we went over it and there was an error so she re submitted it and it showed it as submitted the same day. So i would check and make sure there was no error in submitted as there was for mine.

When calling the Admissions Office from the (609) area code, you must first dial a 1 before the 410 area code for the Academy. I do not know if this is necessary from other area codes. Unfortunately for some very nice woman who answers the call, it's a cell phone number.

My candidate also had some difficulty in the area of teacher recommendations being posted. Some worked with no issues, some just couldn't make it happen. The candidate needs to stay on this like a fly on..... it's also important to use the recommended web browser.

My DS is not very into letting us help track status of applications and what not, can anyone share the website that you can track status? He has a BG officer, we submitted our package to MOC and they had interviews on 21 NOV. Yesderday we did the eye/medical/hearing exams, so I am anxious to see where we stand on various things.

Thanks

Or, go to the USNA web site, click on Admissions, then click on "Naval Academy Candidate Information System (CIS) (for Candidates ONLY)"

This all should be in the letter that identified him as an official candidate. Do you still have that? There's passwords involved and other info that should be obvious (and known to you) from there.

Don't hover though. I have found that at certain times intervention is required to get things off center (or entered). Let him take that charge. Good luck to your DS!
