I just need advice on which of the two branches would be better for my desired MOS. I know these two are polar opposites and I've been told that the AF treats you better and is for more of a comfortable lifestyle and higher education, while the MC from what I heard treat their people like crap and give hardly anything.

The Fire Protection AFSC is an enlisted job and isn't available to an Academy grad.

Same thing for the USMC. It's an enlisted MOS that is run by Warrant Officers.

If you are looking to enlist, this forum is not focused on enlistments. The USAF and USMC are different services in terms of lifestyle. Yes, the USAF is known to have better quality of life, nicer bases, nicer dorms. The USMC is very much a service built on tradition and esprit de corps. Marines don't treat each other badly. They are hard on each other, demanding a high standard of physical fitness, leadership and other things, but that does not mean treating each other badly. Do your research on the differences of services, talk to recruiters (if you are enlisting) and don't make a quick decision. Do your research and don't fall to recruiters pressure until you are sure.
