Hey guys, I’m not sure about my AFOQT scores. I’m looking for a pilot spot and I’m liking my pilot score but just not sure about anything else. My gpa is 3.97 In mechanical engineering.

Pilot: 89
Nav: 53
Acad: 36
Verbal: 20
Quantitative: 56

Not sure, go to http://www.flyingsquadron.com/forums/ and take a look at some of their threads for clarity. Some of the categories other than Pilot have minimum scores to meet and yours may be near those minimums.

Your GPA is great, especially in a STEM major. You want to be 80+ on Pilot and above 50 on everything else. Idk if you've taken the TBAS before, but you want your PCSM to be as high as possible.

There's a lot more that goes into your package than your AFOQT/GPA and pilot slots are extremely competitive. If you don't have strong leadership experience to back good scores, then I would not expect you to get selected.
