I hope someone can clarify this, my daughter was going to accept the AFROTC offer but it calls for a copy of the letter of admission. I'm assuming this is a scanned copy of the college's letter saying she is accepted. However, if she hasn't decided on that school (which she got into early admission) and is waiting on a couple of regular admission decisions , then there is no point in accepting the AFROTC offer right now. Are we correct in this thought process?
Thanks for any insight!

I believe so. Just know from what I've heard and read on these forums you only have 30 days to accept or decline the offer

No - no , on the 30 days to accept or decline offer. You can certainly wait until your decision for colleges which usually run till may 30th. But, make sure you get DoDMERB certified as soon as possible.

Thanks. We confirmed the May 30th deadline. I see comments about 30 days and that raised an alarm that we were missing something. My daughter even Googled this topic and said the only mentions of 30 days to accept were from a few years ago. It doesn't make sense to have a 30 day acceptance period if they are also asking for a Letter of Admission from the school.
And thanks, we're good to go on the DoDMERB and all is set. Now just waiting to see what the regular admission acceptances look like.
