Hello!
I'm new to this forum as you can tell by my post count but I have a couple of questions I would like to ask regarding the AFROTC scholarship. Here are my statistics:
UWGPA (/4.0)(9-11): 3.8 on a 10 point scale [90=A]
WGPA (/4.8)(9-11): 4.3 on a 10 point scale [90=A]
Course Rigor (9-11): 4 AP classes
SAT: 690 Math, 560 Reading = 1250C (Retaking in one day.)
PFA:
60 pushups
60 situps
10:30 run
Activities:
1. Job (20 hours/week)(Paid)(10-11)
2. Volunteer (400+ hours)(9-11)
3. Youth Group (8 hours/week)(9-11)
4. National Honor Society (11)
5. California Scholarship Federation (10-11)
6. Wrestling (11)
7. Water Project (10-11)
Aiming for: Type 7
Major: Electrical Engineering [yes, I am doing it because I am interested not because it is a needed major.]
I realize that it's selective and without the interview results nobody can tell but how am I looking as far as competitiveness? New SAT scores should be 1300+ composite. CR+M
Thanks guys!
P.S: I'm still joining without a scholarship if I do not win one but what are my chances of an eventual scholarship throughout the years? It would help a lot if I were to attend a bigger university.
