AFROTC at Carnegie Mellon / Pitt

Any AFROTC cadets who went to Carnegie Mellon but did AFROTC at Pitt? If so, please let me know how it was, and if there where any problems having to go over to Pitt for ROTC. Class conflicts, etc.

You may want to go to www.collegeconfidential.com and post on their college forums if you get little results here. I am sure both colleges have their own forums.

The reason I state this is because here the majority of the posters are not in the same AFROTC unit. Even for big ones like VT, EARU, PSU, etc there are a few, less than one can count on one hand.

Over there it is the college forum, and if they aren't in the AFROTC program, many know someone who is or someone who was. The pool is larger just because it is tied to the school.

I did not find lot about the cross over from CMU to Pitt, but many Pitt AFROTC current cadets seem to really like the program, despite early morning PT and lots of extra classes. The commander graduated from USAFA and appears to be well liked and to work them, which provides a great combinations!

To add to this: When I visited CMU and Pitt, I got to meet the commander, he was very nice, explained some stuff (we didn't have that long) and showed me a chart about progression in ROTC, which was quite helpful. If you ever visit, I recommend asking about it.
