AFROTC - Board 1 Results

I am almost positive it is occurring this moment...or I might be wrong and today is the date that everything has to be in for the Feb. Board.

I know tomorrow is the last day that the PFT and GC recommendations must be submitted for you to be boarded this year.

It takes about 2 weeks for the results to show up via email and snail mail.

FYI, I just saw last years averages were
Type 1: 1435 SAT/ 32.7 ACT and a 3.91 cgpa
Type2: 1324 SAT/30.1 ACT and a 3.79
Type 7: 1278/28.6 and 3.77

Remember those are best sittings and the cgpa may rejigged too. Plus, there are averages, my guess would be if you want nontechnical your scores will probably nee to be higher, unless your ECs and recs are very strong. IE Eagle Scout, Billy Mitchell for CAP, Team Captain, max the PFA and the interview, plus have a rigorous academic sgedule.

I also found for the first time from their GC handbook that they publicly state the minimums to be boarded. 1180 or a 26 ACT and a 3.0 cgpa.

Good luck all!

If memory serves me correctly, it will not show boarded. I believe if they decide to reboard you, they will send you a cursory letter/notification via email that at this time no decision has been made and will be re evaluated at the next board. This will occur when they do the mass drop of awards.

Do not read too much into being reboarded. You can be on the cusp between a type 1 and 2, 2 and 7, 7 and nothing. They just want to see a larger pool before committing to a scholarship.
